Marató fotogràfica Pep Aguareles - Shop in Andorra El Pas de la Casa

What is it

A photography marathon presented as a workshop-format contest by the Comú d'Encamp: participants spend the day photographing around Pas de la Casa (labelled as a 'Concurs / Marató fotogràfica' in the listing). The source frames this as a local-agenda community activity rather than a commercial festival.

Who is it for

Photographers who enjoy street or travel-style assignments, parents and groups who want a family-friendly activity (there is a Marató Familiar category), and locals looking for a low-cost, community-centred outing across the town streets. The pace is daylong and mobile—expect walking and short stops to shoot.

Why go

It's free entry with prior registration, so it's a low-friction way to spend a day photographing the town and taking part in a community event. The family category makes it an option for mixed-age groups, and the municipal organiser suggests a locally focused route and brief structure rather than an informal meetup.

How to prepare

Confirm registration details before you go (the listing notes that prior sign-up is required but does not provide a link). Expect the working language to be Catalan. Bring camera gear, spare batteries and memory cards, weather-appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes for walking. Check the organiser's (Comú d'Encamp) agenda or the official programme page for exact start/finish arrangements and any rules or meeting points.

Practical info

Date: 14 November 2026 (runs across the day in Andorra time). Venue: Pels carrers del Pas de la Casa.
