Castanyada de Tots Sants
A community Castanyada festival in Ordino’s main square on the evening of 31 October 2026. It’s a short, family-friendly municipal event with chestnuts available for a listed price of €2.50; confirm timing before you leave because source times conflict.
What is it
A local festival-format Castanyada (traditional chestnut celebration) organised by the Comú d'Ordino and scheduled for Plaça Major, Ordino. The listing frames it as a community festivity with a food-and-drink focus — chestnuts are sold in a ‘paperina’ (€2.50).
Who is it for
Suited to local families and mixed-age groups who want a low-friction, community-scale evening out in the town square. The event is presented as family-friendly; the setting and format suggest a relaxed, social pace rather than a formal programme.
Why go
Because it’s a local Castanyada gathering in the central square — an easy way to join a municipal tradition, eat chestnuts on the spot, and soak up an evening community atmosphere. The modest listed price for a paperina keeps the plan low-cost and walk-in friendly.
How to prepare
Confirm the start time and any programme details with the organiser before going (see practical links). The event page contains a time that conflicts with the local-time record here, so check the Comú d'Ordino or official programme. Expect an outdoor town-square setting on an autumn evening and dress accordingly; ticketing or registration beyond the chestnut price is not specified.
