What is it

A learning-focused aikido workshop for children, presented in the event data under the category 'Aikido class' / workshop. The source is a municipal agenda item. The title refers to weekly classes, but the published schedule only gives one dated occurrence — the listing thus combines a workshop format with some ambiguity about recurrence.

Who is it for

Aimed at children aged 8–12 (the listing gives min/max ages). Expect an active, late-afternoon class rather than a passive talk — suitable for kids comfortable with light physical activity. Caregivers should plan for drop-off/pick-up at a hotel venue in Escaldes-Engordany.

Why go

It’s a low-commitment way to try aikido for children, with the advantage that the first session is noted as free. The workshop setting and local municipal listing make it a community-scale option close to home in Escaldes-Engordany.

How to prepare

Check registration and exact recurrence before you go — the event has no ticket or signup link in the listing. Confirm whether the class continues weekly, what to wear, and whether mats or equipment are provided. Bring comfortable clothes and water; arrive a few minutes early to find the Hotel Roc Blanc room and check in with the organiser.
